5) All documents necessary to complete the rental contract
When you find a room you like, you must fill-out an application form. On the application form you will have to write things concerning yourself (your name, current address, address of your work place, income, the name of persons live with you, etc.) and things concerning your guarantor including income, etc.
We will take the application to the owner and a tenant check will be done. There are many aspects of a tenant check, for example: your workplace, income, and credit history, etc. will be checked. After you pass this check, you can finally make a contract to rent the room.
It generally takes at least 2 to 3 days to recieve the result of a tenant check.
The followings are required when you sign a contract.
①Things concerning a lessee
・Certificate of Alien Registration
・Passport
・Resident Card
Certificate of Items Stated in Alien Registration Original Slip
(・Certificate of Seal Registration)
・Certificate of income or withholding slip
・Contract form
・Seal or registered seal
・Student ID (If a lessee is a student)
②Things concerning a guarantor
・Certificate of Seal Registration
・Registered Seal
・Undersigned and sealed 'Certificate of being a guarantor' (If a guarantor doesn't present him/herself at the time the contract is signed. It can be substituted by signing and sealing the contract form.)
